We would like to thank everyone for the support that was
given to us throughout the entire semester.
To be honest, it wasn’t an easy
process to go through especially both of us had to juggle other course works as
well as the job application process. However, we truly believe that we have
learned and accomplished many things throughout this project.
Things that we took away:
- Entrepreneurship is not an easy thing to do, just because you think you have an awesome idea doesn’t mean that the idea will be carried out into an awesome product.
- It takes hard-work and a lot of self-motivation to successfully carry out what you set out to do.
- Constant feedback from customers is needed for a successful project
- Perseverance is key
These are the things that we think can be improved if we get
a chance to redo the project
- Come up with a solid design faster
- Order small quantity of t-shirt to see how prototypes would sell
- Create a different design for girls T-shirts
- Hold off on the trademark purchase
Overall, we feel that even though we might not have made the
$200 profit goal that the project set out, we still managed to do something
that can be extremely beneficial to our society. Since testicular cancer is the
most common form of cancer in men between the age of 15 and 40, this project
might be small as of now but hopefully in the future it will become bigger and
raise even more awareness for this form of cancer.
